Designer Bums Reusable Cloth Nappies (OSFM) are multi-award-winning, modern All-In-Two (AI2) cloth nappies designed in Australia for comfort, reliability and ease of use.

Suitable for most babies from approximately 3kg to 15kg+, each nappy features adjustable snap-up rises and a trim, flexible fit that grows with your child.

Every Designer Bums OSFM reusable cloth nappy includes two ultra-absorbent bamboo inserts, allowing you to customise absorbency for daytime use, naps or heavier wetters, and is finished in exclusive, artist-illustrated Designer Bums prints.

Featuring our recently updated thermally laminated PUL, offering a softer hand-feel and improved durability.

Need a different size? We also offer Newborn Cloth Nappies, designed especially for preemie and very small babies, as well as Large / Night Cloth Nappies, for larger babies, toddlers and children who need extra room or increased absorbency.

All-In-Two (AI2) system includes 2 inserts: 2 x tri-layer bamboo inserts made from high-quality natural bamboo/cotton fibres.
Two-piece absorbency set (great for customising): 1 x rectangular snap-in booster insert, 1 x large anchor-shaped insert with flexible boosting options.
Flexible boosting options: extra pocket opening at the back so you can boost internally and/or lay/snap inserts to suit your needs.
Trim, snug fit that suits most babies.
Optional upgrade for heavy wetters/long stretches: compatible with the super-absorbent trifold insert (sold separately) for heavier use or night-time conversion.
Exclusive artist-designed prints.
Absorbency grows with washing: your custom-milled bamboo works right away and increases in absorbency over time.

Inserts: Natural Bamboo/Cotton
Bamboo/cotton inserts are naturally absorbent and designed for fast, reliable soaking with a trim feel.

Separate inserts from shell before washing.
Use a short pre-rinse / pre-wash with detergent at 40–60°C, then a long main wash (max 60°C).
Air dry shells; tumble dry inserts only on low (avoid tumble drying shells to protect waterproofing).
Keep shell wash spin to 800 RPM or less to protect elastics.

Shipping Times

Most orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number (simply click the blue box in the email to track your parcel).

For orders within Australia and New Zealand, delivery is typically within 7 business days from dispatch.

For international orders, delivery timeframes will vary depending on your location and the courier.

Please note:

  • During new collection launches, sales, promotional periods, public holidays, or unexpected industry disruptions, dispatch times may be extended by up to 10 business days.
  • While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, Designer Bums is not responsible for delays once your parcel is with the courier, as delivery timeframes are managed by third-party providers.

Shipping and Delivery

Once your order has been dispatched, we’re unable to make changes to the items ordered or the delivery address.

We recommend keeping an eye on your tracking details once your parcel is on its way. If you experience any delivery issues, please reach out to us and we’ll work with the courier or Australia Post to assist and lodge an investigation if needed.

We do not take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once delivered. 

International Orders and Customs

We offer international shipping to all international destinations unless restrictions apply, which happens from time to time. 

International orders are shipped via DHL, or more economical options such as Australia Post International is available to the UK, Canada and US destinations.

Delivery timeframes are dependent on your location and courier.

It is the customer's responsibility to cover any and all customs related charges for the import of goods, including taxes and duties.

Full Time Cloth Nappy Use

Planning on full time cloth nappy use? We suggest having a stash of at least 24 nappies. This gives you enough if you wash every second day, but many of our customers find a comfortable amount around 36. Having more in your stash means extending the days between main washes, or to account for sickness or rain!

Part Time Cloth Nappy Use

If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed by the thought of cloth nappies, or want to ease into the process, starting out with part-time use is a great idea. Some parents choose to do cloth during the day-time, and disposable nappies overnight until they are comfortable with reusables.
